Attractive points in Okinawa!
Beautiful nature.
Okinawa have many beautiful views especially in north area.
clean oceans, beautiful nature, comfortable climates.
Beautiful nature is one of the good point to enjoy here.
You can enjoy snorkeling, diving into the oceans, chilling on the beach.
Historical places
In 1945, Battle of Okinawa is happened between japan and America.
Many local people including not soldiers was died.
But even now, historical place to show crueltyof the war is left and you can see.
I will introduce some place where I have been.
Abutiragama
it is artificial cave by making people to save their life.
when American soldiers invade and attack people, locals hide into this cave and live here.
it is used for living and base place for japanese army. Locals take care about injured soldiers and sometimes they were forced to flight with guns.
inside this cave is dark and people cannot see anything, a lot of injured soldiers were died in the cave.
Actually, I have been to this cave for sightseening.
when I enter this cave, I sensed a heavy atmosphere. because there is no light, no fresh air, no sound, kind of cooler than outside, kind of humidity.

The Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters
it is constructed as the “Naval Headquarters Base” for the command of the Imperial Japanese Navy’s Okinawa Area, this bunker, where the Imperial Japanese Navy met the end of organized combat after a fierce battle, is a valuable facility that has been preserved almost exactly as it was.
The remains of the site were dug by hand by about 3,000 generals over a period of five months, day and night; bullet holes where they committed suicide with hand grenades.
this is also historical place and I think it was very interesting.
Naha, center part of Okinawa
it is one of the most attractive city in Okinawa.
especially, Kokusai street is good place in Naha.
there are a lot of reastaurant, bar, Souvenir shop, etc. and you can enjoy shopping and relax.
it is nearby Naha international airport, so easy to visit for travelers, I think.
